The workshops are directed to people who do not know the Japanese script without calligraphic experiences. Joanna Zakrzewska, who will lead the meeting, will present the tools, basic lines and the technique of the model letter. Participants will try their hand at various ideograms. Everyone at the end will write his ideographic sign "purely". All the equipment is provided by the organizer, only good humor and openness to new challenges will be needed!
Joanna Zakrzewska - japonist, calligrapher and illuminator, lecturer at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology, she obtained a PhD at the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk. Scientifically he deals with the aesthetics of Japanese art (monographs: "Sakuteiki - notes on establishing gardens", "Reconsider the beauty, Japanese calligraphy aesthetics"). She is also a graduate of the Krakow School of Calligraphy, Illumination and related fields. In the field of Japanese calligraphy, he is a master in the second degree of the Japanese Calligraphy School Seifū. He runs workshops on Latin and Japanese calligraphy. Has numerous scientific publications and art exhibitions.
