I AM RUNNING OUT OF WORDS (stage version) / PREMIERE
Agafia Wieliczko - choreography, dance
Maja Miró-Wiśniewska - music, flutes
I am running out of words where the sensations thicken.
There is a certain limit to the experience, behind which the intensity is so great that I can call all this complexity simply: "I love" or "I'm afraid" while the body is full of unnamed layers.
The starting point for the spectacle "I am running out of words" is a series of drawings made by Maja at the end of pregnancy.
They were made with eyes closed, focusing attention on the experience of structures, textures and body space. This is how the diary of personally experiencing the body was created in this emotionally and semantically full moment, and based on it - the choreography of the show "I'm running out of words".
The stage version of the spectacle, made following shows at the Stary Sobieski Water Reservoir, goes beyond the experience of pregnancy and the dancer reading drawn body maps. He touches on issues of female infertility and in vitro taboos.
